I am an endurance athlete. Started getting into triathlons 13 years ago... I’ve done every distance from super sprint up to Ironman distance. I was on a competitive cycling team in AZ for many years but stepped away from that and focused on running. I have been a Ragnar Ambassador for 6 years now and actually had my first introduction to Addaday about 5 years ago when Addaday sponsored Ragnar for a year. After that introduction to the Addaday products I’ve been sold on this company every since for recovery tools!! I am involved in several local running groups in AZ because I work the marketing activation circuit for Ragnar currently. And I would love to include Addaday as a product to promote because I can testify to its amazingness! In fact last year at Ironman AZ I met Dr Mike who was working the IMAZ expo, I used to work with his brother Dr Brendan McCarthy NMD, DC...(who was also there with him in the expo tent). it was so cool to see that great minds think alike about athletic recovery tools!! I’ll admit I didn’t realize until that point that Dr Mike was the CRO with the company.
Back to running, I prefer to run Ragnar’s (for obvious reasons) and trail ultra marathons. I’ve only just started running ultras and have completed a 50m and a 100k. Starting to train for a 100miler this Christmas.
One of the best things I have going for me is I have such an outgoing personality that I don’t know a stranger, also I don’t look like a size 2 runner. Hear me out, I “look” like what the average sized gal looks like in America (size 12-14) and this really opens doors for me to talk to people because they see me looking like them and I get to encourage them to sign up for these crazy adventurous races with me because if I can do it, anyone can! I love it!! I can’t tell you how many people I’ve gotten to sign up for Ragnar’s and other races because of it. It’s great!
I am not very active on Twitter or Instagram but I will do my best if need be. I am very active of FB and I work extremely hard to keep my Fb page clean of anything controversial or negative. I don’t engage in that crap. I prefer professionalism and I try to spread the truth about positivity, open up and share stuff about myself to connect to others, and promote events and companies that I support.
